Terms of Use

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lightboard.ai Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (referred to as we, us or our), governing your use of the MySawm application.

By accessing or using MySawm you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms you must not use the App.

If you are between 13 and 17 years of age you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use MySawm solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works based on any part of the App without our express written permission. You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable or impair the App or interfere with other users.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account at hello@mysawm.com.

You agree to use the App honestly and in accordance with its intended purpose. In particular you agree not to: enter false fasting or prayer logs to gain an unfair advantage on the MySawm Ranking leaderboard, create multiple accounts to manipulate rankings, impersonate other users, use automated tools or scripts to interact with the App, or engage in any activity designed to cheat or manipulate the points or ranking systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove any account we reasonably believe is cheating, manipulating rankings or violating these Terms.

MySawm offers a Premium tier providing access to the full story library, adaptive Quran learning with AI, advanced insights and statistics, unlimited Moon Flyer game plays and exclusive game skins, and exclusive profile avatars. The community leaderboard, rankings, achievement badges, watchlist and streak multipliers are now free for all users.

Pricing: Premium is available at £2.99 per month, £9.99 per year, or £49.99 as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes. Prices may vary slightly by territory in line with Apple's pricing tiers on iOS.

How to Subscribe:

On Android and web: Subscribe directly within the App. Payment is processed securely by Stripe Inc.

On iOS: Subscribe or purchase directly within the App via Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID.

Billing: On Android and web, by subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable subscription interval. On iOS, your Apple ID will be charged at confirmation of purchase, and for Monthly and Annual subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment with no recurring billing.

Cancellation: On Android and web, use the Manage Subscription option in the App settings. On iOS, manage or cancel your Monthly or Annual subscription at any time via your Apple ID subscription settings in the App Store (Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to Premium features until the end of the period already paid for. The Lifetime purchase cannot be cancelled as it is a one-time payment with permanent access.

Refunds: On Android and web, we do not offer refunds for subscription periods that have already started except where required by applicable law. Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling off period from the date of your initial purchase during which you may request a full refund by contacting hello@mysawm.com, provided you have not already accessed the Premium features. Once you have accessed Premium features within the 14-day period you expressly waive your right to cancel under the cooling off period.

On iOS, all payments are processed by Apple and all refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple, as we do not have the ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or via your purchase history in the App Store. Refunds for iOS purchases are granted at Apple's sole discretion in accordance with Apple's own refund policies.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days notice of any price increase before it takes effect. On iOS, price changes are communicated and administered by Apple in accordance with its own policies.

MySawm is currently ad-free and has no advertising partners. We do not display advertisements within the App at this time.

If advertising is introduced in the future these Terms will be updated and users will be notified in advance.

All content, features and functionality of MySawm including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images and software are the exclusive property of Lightboard.ai Ltd or its licensors and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

Quranic text, hadith and Islamic scholarly content displayed in the App is sourced from public domain and open licence sources. We do not claim ownership of Islamic scripture or traditional religious content.

You retain ownership of any personal data you enter into the App such as your fasting logs and prayer records.

MySawm is a personal tracking and community tool. It is not a source of religious authority or Islamic legal opinion. Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical algorithms and are approximate. Fasting eligibility and religious obligations should be verified with a qualified Islamic scholar or your local mosque.

We have made reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of Islamic content within the App including Quran text, Dua references and the 99 Names of Allah. However we make no warranty as to the absolute accuracy or completeness of religious content. You should not rely solely on MySawm for matters of religious obligation.

The App integrates third-party services including Stripe for payment processing on Android and web, Apple's App Store and RevenueCat for payment processing and subscription management on iOS, Aladhan API for prayer times, OpenStreetMap for mosque data and the Quran Foundation API for scripture content and audio recitations. Quran text, translations and audio recitations provided via the Quran Foundation API are available to all users free of charge and are not gated behind the MySawm Premium tier. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of third-party services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law MySawm is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits or loss of goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity or caused harm to other users or to the App.

If your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms you will not be entitled to a refund of any subscription or purchase fees paid. If we terminate your account for reasons other than a violation of these Terms we will provide a pro-rata refund of any unused subscription period, where applicable and where we are able to do so (this does not apply to Lifetime purchases or to iOS purchases, which are administered solely by Apple).

You may delete your account at any time directly from within the App by going to Settings and selecting Delete My Account. Alternatively you may request account deletion by contacting hello@mysawm.com. We will process all deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with our obligations under UK GDPR.

If you have an active Premium subscription please cancel it before deleting your account to avoid future charges. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Stripe subscription (Android/web) or your Apple subscription (iOS) — these must be cancelled separately through the relevant platform.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for the resolution of any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App.

If you have a complaint about the App please contact us first at hello@mysawm.com. We will endeavour to resolve complaints within 14 days.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of material changes by displaying a notice within the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page.
