mySawm is a small team building a Muslim worship app used by people around the world. We offer short paid placements for students and college leavers who want real experience of how a modern app gets built, launched and grown.
Paid Work Experience Placement

2 weeks
Full time, 5 days per week
£1,200 bursary for the placement
West Midlands — hybrid, with some work from home
A two-week paid placement for a student or recent college leaver who is curious about technology and wants to see how a real product works from the inside.
What you’ll do
- See how features are designed, built and shipped to the App Store and Google Play
- Help plan and create content for social media
- Work on real tasks that reach real users, not filing or admin
- Learn how analytics, user feedback and product decisions fit together
- Sit in on the day-to-day of running a small technology company
Who it’s for
- Students in their final year of college, or recent college leavers
- No previous experience or technical background needed
- Curious, reliable, and happy to ask questions
- Interested in technology, design, marketing or content — you do not need to know which yet
- Willing to travel within the West Midlands to support our marketing team. All travel costs are reimbursed.
What we offer
